Children and families are invited to a day of solving some historical riddles in four of Nevada County’s finest museums. Who was the first woman to be president of an American railroad? Who was Lola Montez, and where is her bath tub? Which Indian tribe was native to this area? What local mining machine was the largest in the world? These questions and other mysteries can be solved during this day of fun and discovery.
Start your day at any of the museums and follow the clues to the end. Every child completing the tour will receive a personalized certificate recognizing their accomplishment. Please plan to join us.
