Virginia & Truckee No.25, a 1905 Baldwin 4-6-0, sits steamed-up outside the main shop.
On the turntable is the "Eureka", an 1875 Baldwin 4-4-0, (36" gauge) visiting from Las Vegas, NV.
"Sarah" gets a turn on the table.
Threading the way through the museum's yard towards the two-way stub switch.
The rail bus carried more than 320 visitors during the visit.  The NSRM has only about 300' of narrow gauge rail, but everyone said they enjoyed their rides.

The gasoline-powered “Sarah Kidder” found itself almost alone (one other gas powered rail bus attended) among the steaming giants assembled for the July 4th celebration.  Here the rail bus sit on a siding to allow the passage of NSRM No.8, an 1888 4-4-0.

All packed up and heading home to Nevada City, CA after a great holiday operating among the many historic engines assembled in Carson City.
